Time to put on your overalls!
Pull the suspenders over your shoulders and determine the approximate location where they need to attach to the front for a comfortable fit. Mark the position with chalk or pins.
At this point, you have many options regarding how to secure the suspenders to the front.
You could install buttons on the front and buttonholes on the suspenders; if you're concerned about fit or would like the overalls to be adjustable, you could install several buttons and make several buttonholes on the suspenders to give the wearer fitting options.
You could also use snaps, but unless they're quite sturdy (to the point of being annoying to undo), we'd recommend against those.
Another option is to use actual overall buckles (if you can find some large enough for these straps, that is).
You could even use suspender clips if you wanted to!
We, however, prefer hook-and-loop tape ("Velcro"); it's simple, sturdy, and easy to adjust.
