Tutorial, part 8 - Close Inseam

We recommend pressing the garment as much as possible while it's still open and the wrong side is still fairly easily accessible; it will be more difficult to do so later. 

Sew the inseam closed in one long continuous stitch, matching edges and seam lines and right sides together. 


Press seam allowances open. (A pants seam pressing board is practically indispensible for this.)


The bottom (crotch area) of your trousers should now look like this: 



For OVERALLS, continue to next step.

For TROUSERS, skip to step 10.
