Sew the center front (piece A) to the side front (piece B) along the front seam line, right sides together.
For the Voyager-style trousers, stop stitching 8" from the bottom, exactly where the extra seam allowance you cut begins.
Press the seam allowances open.
Your front assembly should look like this:
Repeat for the other side.
